SEQ Mechanical & Engineering provides non-structural steel fabrication, installation, repair and maintenance across South East Queensland. Everything below is delivered under our QBCC Non-Structural Fabrication & Installation scope, backed by SWMS and our WHS system.
Non-Structural Fabrication
Workshop and on-site fabrication of non-structural metal items: frames, brackets, mounting plates, access panels, grilles, louvres, screens, balustrades and gate hardware.
Bollards & Protective Barriers
Surface-mounted and core-drilled bollards, protective posts, and vehicle, asset and equipment-protection barriers, including removal and replacement.
Fencing, Gates & Security Enclosures
Industrial and security fencing, mesh, gates, security and storage cages, plant and bin enclosures and protective screens, plus repairs and panel replacement.
Handrails, Guardrails & Access
Non-structural handrails, guardrails, safety rails and barriers, repairs and replacements, and small non-structural access arrangements.
Machinery Guards & Equipment Protection
Fabricated and installed machine, pump, motor, belt and coupling guards, protective screens, barriers and covers. We fabricate the guards, we don't service the machinery.
Brackets, Mounts & Supports
Equipment mounting brackets and frames, mounting plates, pipe and cable-tray supports, instrument brackets and minor non-structural service supports.
Welding & Metal Repairs
On-site and workshop MIG and MMA (stick) welding, grinding and metal preparation, and carbon-steel corrosion and wear repairs to non-structural metalwork.
Concrete Anchoring & Fixing
Chemical, mechanical and Dynabolt anchoring, concrete and masonry drilling, and fixing of bollards, handrails, guards, brackets, fencing and frames, incidental to installation.
Minor Demolition & Removal
Removal and disposal of redundant or damaged non-structural steelwork, bollards, fencing, gates, handrails, guards and enclosures, and site preparation for replacement installations.
Repair & Maintenance of Fabricated Assets
Repairs and preventive inspections of handrails, guardrails, fences, gates, bollards, guards, cages, barriers and enclosures — maintenance of the fabricated item.
